ABOUT ME
I am Yasemin and I am currently studying MSc Creative Computing at the University of the Arts London.

I’m a computational arts practitioner. I like to explore our complicated relationship with technology, think critically about code and take inspiration from history, particularly ancient artefacts and cultures. By combining history with technology, I aim to challenge linear thinking and nature-culture binaries in my works. I primarily  use creative coding, 3D printing, game engines, and microcontrollers in my projects.

I have also previously worked in exhibition planning as an Assistant Creative Director. More information can be found on our exhibition website

4 DESCENT
Descent is an Augmented Reality installation questioning technology, power, dependency, and the cost of innovation. It invites the viewer to reflect on how our bodies and minds are intertwined with technology and whether the enhancements of our capabilities through technology are worth it.
